This has been a grammatical pet peeve.

I’M BACK! I have still yet to commit blogicide. Since, however…I have decided to attempt jobicide. I’ve applied for a 4th position internally. So wish daddy luck, cuz he really likes this one a lot. The interview is on Thursday…so you’ll know how I felt about it all by catching up to me at Science Club!

By then I’ll not be poh no moh. (Aaron will not be poor anymore by then.) It’s funny how life takes you there sometimes, having bills but having a paycheck missed and all…. I could throw blame, but I won’t. It forced me to sit down and recalculate a few things, yes. And I have BooDadday to pick up the slack, yes. And it’s kicked me from buying lunch all the time, yes. But dammit I swear if this happens again…. No one likes the feeling they are being dicked around. Not even me.

I digress. The Clue party was a success!!! Much less subtle than the last one. In attendance were Captain Morgan, the cute young version of Hannibal Lechter, Dr. Backalley, Planet Unicorn, Professor Plumb, Britney Spears, The Bar Fly, The Life Scout, The Lumberjack, Mr. Clean, The Brawny Man…so many others. Pictures soon. The house wasn’t as much a wreck as it could have been. And it was great to see everyone.

It is way too cold out today. But my favorite day of the year approaches!!!! Look out! Some believe it is the most fun day of the year. For others it is the start of a new year, religiously or literally. For me…it just holds a special twisted place in my heart. And how will I/we celebrate? Probably at home in front of 28 Weeks Later and our family of furry hellions. And the day before, my company is having their yearly beerfest…so I probably won’t want to be overdoing it. Interview on Thursday after all.

Anyway…wish me luck.

It’s just that Verizon is now blocking the shared IP that SubwayState.com resides upon. (Wonder…if it was me…. Hmm…. I don’t know. Jimbo? TJ? What do you think?)

So…fuck Verizon…and GO NEXPOINT.NET for setting up another IP address for SubwayState and the other addresses affected by this total gaff. If you are reading this and you are a Verizon subscriber, the IP change has been completed.

As you can see I have not posted anymore in the 31-days series. You could say I gave up…much like Britney has so many times. But you would be wrong. I just can’t be bothered at the moment. I may continue it later.

But someone who HASN’T given up…is Secret Worm,

also known as The Sean Show, my beloved DJ-partnah-on-hiatus. He will be a guest artist at BeBar on October 20th for the next X show. He is an amazingly talented artist despite what he thinks and I will be disappointed if I don’t see you there. To follow is a hefty night at Blowoff if people are up for it.

Day 7 – On this day, I felt something coming. I recognized it, but wasn’t sure what it was. Then it hit me. A full-on migraine. And after such a good day, too, what with brunch and all. So instead of seeing it it might go away as I usually do…I popped a few Excedrin. The pain wasn’t gone until the next morning.

Day 6 – The weekend approaches and the only thought I have is that Saturday’s should be used for fun and nothing else. So on this night, I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend, where I was in charge of the wine. I brought 9 red’s and 3 white’s for people to taste. It went over amazingly.

Day 5 – Last night I brought Elric out of his room and into the house. He sat on the couch with me as I watched a muted TV and eventually perched himself right on my leg. Boo had gone to bed already and I just finished my glass of wine. And I remembered at that moment how nice silence is. Fridays are usually like that at work. I can’t wait to get to the office.
