I am testing out a new piece of software called MacJournal. If I end up getting used to it, like it, etc, you’ll see more posts from me going forward. For now, here’s some highlights.
- I opened Indigo @ Tabaq Bistro last night in NW with DJ C-Dubz of Baltimore. The event is a Jacob Pring Production and was a very interesting time. The best part of the night is when I broke out a remix of the new Morel single and this guy started playing his trumpet to it. It was like we were in the studio. He sounded great and so did the remix. So BIG thanks to Morel. I can’t stop listening to Death Of The Paperboy on repeat.
- Apparently I haven’t been getting voicemails since February. Quite a few important messages were stuck in the queue until AT&T helped me correct the problem. Luckily it was nothing earth-shattering, but still. What a pain!
- My self-imposed absence from physical activity in general is ending soon now that the weather is doing something right. Today I have no voice, but I know we’re at the end of the tunnel!!
- We are moving to New York at the end of the year, tentatively. So we’ve been purging the house. There will be a Big Gay Give Away party at the house soon. Stay tuned.
- Speaking of tunes, have you heard Little Dragon guest on Gorillaz “Plastic Beach” yet? Or have you heard Paradise Circus from the new Massive Attack album “Heligoland”? Get on that.
-This weeks remaining gigs are…
Touch-It Thursday @ Science Club
Saint Patsy’s Friday @ Green Lantern
Dress Saturday @ MOVA with C-Dubz
- April approaches, and so does a new promo! I have collected a great list of recently released should-be hits and it will be much more cohesive than the last few moody jobs. Keep your eyes peeled.
- I am working on covering a Morel track in Garage Band, but he doesn’t know it yet. I haven’t really brought it up yet…sorta been working on it for a couple months. I like it so far, which is saying a lot. I don’t actually truly like a lot of what I write.
- I am Lt Comm 6 on Star Trek Online. Josh and Sam are Rear Admiral. Dorks.
